For 25 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, adolescents, and families, emergency and family homes, addiction care, supported housing, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through the four municipal associations.

The operation has 6 places for girls and boys aged 8 to 11 years and is aimed at individually placed children who need care, treatment, and supplementary investigations. We operate around the clock.

We are now looking for a treatment educator with sleeping on-call duty for a permanent part-time position of 41.17% with start date according to agreement. Introduction will take place during the day. A probationary period may apply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does it mean to be a treatment educator on-call at Sunnerö?

During the night, the focus is on maintaining stability, safety, and security. Your tasks include maintaining the environmental work in the evening and being available for our children, as well as making observations and simple documentation. Performing daily routines is part of the role. During the night, two people work, one awake and you with sleeping on-call duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has at least a two-year post-secondary education, or an education equivalent to this, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field. We prefer that you have previous experience working with the target group. You are a role model and have the ability to create credible and stable relationships. You are part of the structure that clarifies and accommodates the children's issues and have the ability to create safety and predictability. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
